Be Curious
Be Compassionate
Be Courageous
Connect Lead Achieve was born out of my experience leading teams in the community services sector and having to juggle the added responsibility of HR due to under-resourcing. I wanted to fill this gap and provide accessible, best-practice HR support for the organisations that our communities rely on.
My goal is simple: to help for-purpose organisations build strong teams, lead with heart, and achieve meaningful outcomes whilst always focusing on real-world solutions that strengthen people, culture, and performance.

HR Coaching, Training & Workshops
Coaching, Training & Workshops
One-Off or Ongoing Support for Individual HR Professionals or HR Teams who want to enhance their leadership or need advice.
Many HR practitioners in the NDIS and community sector operate like a “teams of one,” navigating complex people issues without a sounding board.
Whether you need guidance on a tricky workplace matter, want to elevate your HR capability, or strengthen your leadership presence, we provide practical, sector-specific support designed to make your role easier - and your impact greater.
How We Help
Want to build HR capacity and understanding but struggling to keep up with complex policies like Fair Work, WHS & other legal obligations?
Whether it’s keeping updated with Fair Work legislation changes, Award (including SCHADS) Interpretation, Psychosocial Safety obligations, worker screening and safeguarding expectations, it’s a full-time job to stay on top of everything!
We make compliance simple.
With our Outsourced HR Support, your policies, contracts, position descriptions, pay and workplace practices are checked, updated and aligned with Fair Work and WHS legislation, so you avoid penalties, disputes or unintentional breaches - and you can focus on running your organisation confidently.
Dealing with performance problems, staff conflict, misconduct, or are striving to build a supportive workplace where your team can thrive?
We help you handle the tough staff issues legally, safely and with minimal stress.
In community services, people issues can quickly escalate… especially when the stakes involve vulnerable clients, high emotions or burnout.
With our Project Work, we guide you through performance conversations, conflict resolution, behaviour concerns and disciplinary processes.
You get practical, clear, legally sound advice that supports fair outcomes for your team and protects your organisation.
Want to equip your HR team with trusted HR capacity, skills and understanding with confidence so they can deliver their best every day?
We provide coaching, supervision, training & workshops for leaders and HR professionals in digestible resources and conversations that meet the complex specifications that come with NDIS and community-based services.
Generic training doesn’t address the complexity your teams need.
Our training and workshops is suitable for all levels of people-first organisations and businesses - frontline workers, team leaders, managers and executives. We cover topics such as leadership, people management, communication, service delivery and handling workplace issues.
How It Works
Your Onboarding Experience
BOOK A CHAT
Book A Chat With Carla
We start by meeting virtually over a casual chat to understand your organisation or your personal objectives - your services, your goals, your challenges, and the outcomes you want to achieve. This helps us tailor the partnership from day one.
HR HEALTH CHECK
HR Health Check
We conduct a review of your current HR practices, policies, compliance, culture, and capability. This gives you a clear picture of what’s working, what needs attention, and how we should prioritise them.
ACTION PLAN
Create a Personalised Action Plan
For individuals and team-specific needs, we map out the best tailored coaching, workshops, and/or training that is recommended.
For organisations, we map out your priorities for the next 6–12 months. Your customised plan outlines recommended actions, timelines, and areas where you’ll receive ongoing support.
IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORT
Actionise Your Plan With On-Going Support
We work alongside you, your team, and/or your organisation to implement changes, resolve issues, strengthen systems, and build capability.
You get practical guidance every step of the way.
We can schedule quarterly and monthly check-ins, book workshops or training dates, and set up communication channels. This keeps everyone aligned, accountable, and supported.
As you and your organisation grows or your needs change, we adjust the plan to ensure you feel supported and your HR, compliance, and people strategy remain strong, relevant, and future-ready.
TESTIMONIALS
What Some of My Amazing Clients Had To Say
Carla from Connect Lead Achieve has been an incredible support to Mob 4 Mob during a pivotal milestone in our organisation’s journey. From the moment
she began working with us, it was clear that her heart and intention were deeply aligned with our purpose, not just in words, but in action. Carla doesn’t just
support us; she walks alongside us.
Her understanding of culture, her respect for lived experience, and her genuine care for what Mob 4 Mob stands for has been remarkable. She approaches
every challenge with humility and insight, and the guidance she has given us has helped strengthen our internal processes, our confidence as a Board, and
our ability to grow with integrity.
What stands out most about Carla is that it doesn’t feel like she’s an external consultant she feels like part of our organisation. Her support has been holistic, respectful, culturally safe, and truly transformative for our little org. We are deeply grateful for her wisdom, her commitment, and the way she leads with heart. We would wholeheartedly recommend Carla and Connect Lead Achieve to any community-led or for-purpose organisation looking for thoughtful, values-driven support that honours people, culture and impact.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Carla as a presenter for our community, and I can honestly say she’s one of the most engaging and down-to-earth HR professionals I’ve come across.
What stood out to me immediately was Carla’s ability to take complex, often sensitive HR issues and deliver them in a way that’s practical, clear, and full of heart. Her sessions are always packed with value, and she has a unique way of making people feel empowered rather than overwhelmed, especially in the tricky areas like performance management and workplace culture.
Our community has loved her insights, and I’ve had so much positive feedback after her presentations. People walk away with clarity and real-world strategies they can apply straight away. What’s been most refreshing is that Carla doesn’t sugar-coat things, but she also doesn’t make them feel heavy. She brings a sense of calm, confidence, and genuine care to everything she does. I’d absolutely recommend Carla to any organisation looking for honest, smart, and actionable HR support. She gets it. And more importantly, she helps others get it too.
Thanks Carla for being such a great part of our speaker lineup and for the impact you’ve made in our space.
