Why this program matters

We need to take better care of of those in caring roles!

"The health care and social assistance industry had the highest number of work-related mental health conditions than any other industry over the past five years." *

This workshop will help you understand the hazards and risks facing our community services workforce and help you to prepare a psychosocial risk assessment that aligns to your work environment.

Not only is this good practice, it is a legal requirement!

Legislation was introduced in 2023 that prioritises psychological safety of employees in the same way that physical health and safety is prioritised. This means that organisations could be subject to the same penalties for a psychological injury that occurs in the workplace, as they would for a physical injury.

Value adding activities

  • Training: An online, interactive workshop with lots of opportunities to apply these practices to your work context.
  • Networking: An opportunity to connect with other leaders in the sector.
  • Peace of Mind: Lots of businesses we've spoken to have been putting this in their 'too hard' basket. You will finish this workshop with a draft Psychosocial Risk Assessment tailored to suit your organisation and some clear actions as to what to do next.
